• Checkout and payment-page information necessary to perform the user-configured checkout workflow
• Extension settings such as selected payment mode, quantity, checking interval, and running status

The Extension does not intentionally collect or store:

• CVV/security codes
• UPI PINs
• Banking passwords
• OTPs
• Personal communications
• Health information

3. How Information Is Used

Information accessed by the Extension is used only to provide its core checkout-assistance functionality.

This includes:

• Identifying the selected product
• Adding products to the user’s cart
• Initiating the checkout process
• Supporting the user’s selected payment mode
• Maintaining the Extension’s operational state
• Remembering user-selected settings
• Handling temporary technical errors
• Converting supported product URLs into affiliate links when affiliate functionality is enabled

The Extension does not use accessed information for unrelated advertising, profiling, or personalized advertising.

4. Local Storage

The Extension may use Chrome’s local storage functionality to save operational settings, including:

• Payment mode

• Quantity
• Running/stopped state
• Current operational status
• Affiliate conversion state and converted product URL required to maintain the checkout workflow

These settings are stored locally by the Extension and are not sold or provided to advertising companies.

5. Flipkart Website Access

The Extension accesses supported Flipkart webpages because its primary purpose requires it to interact with Flipkart’s product and checkout pages.

The Extension may communicate with Flipkart services required for the checkout-assistance functionality.

Such access is limited to what is necessary for the Extension’s stated purpose.

6. Payment Information

The Extension does not intentionally collect or store users’ payment credentials.

Users remain responsible for reviewing their order and payment information before completing a purchase.

The Extension does not request or intentionally store:

• Card numbers
• CVV
• UPI PIN
• Banking passwords
• OTPs

7. Affiliate Link Conversion — EarnKaro

The Extension uses EarnKaro’s affiliate-link conversion service to convert supported Flipkart product URLs into affiliate URLs.

When the affiliate conversion functionality is used:

1. The Extension obtains the product URL from the supported Flipkart product page.
2. The product URL is transmitted to the EarnKaro API for conversion.
3. EarnKaro returns a converted affiliate URL.
4. The Extension uses the converted URL to continue the checkout-assistance workflow.

The Extension does not intentionally transmit users’ passwords, payment credentials, OTPs, UPI PINs, or banking credentials to EarnKaro.

EarnKaro may process information according to its own privacy policies and terms. Users should review EarnKaro’s applicable privacy documentation for information about how EarnKaro handles data received through its services.

The affiliate conversion functionality is used to generate affiliate links and may result in the developer receiving an affiliate commission when eligible purchases are made through those links.

8. Affiliate Disclosure

Auto Buy Helper may use affiliate links generated through EarnKaro.

If a user completes an eligible purchase after using an affiliate link generated by the Extension, the developer may receive a commission at no additional cost to the user.

The presence of an affiliate relationship does not change the price the user pays for the product.

The Extension does not use affiliate functionality for unrelated advertising or user profiling.

9. Offscreen Document and Audio Alerts

The Extension uses Chrome’s Offscreen API to support audio playback for important checkout-status notifications.

The offscreen document is used primarily to play an audio alert when the automated checkout workflow reaches the payment page.

The offscreen document:

• Does not collect personal information
• Does not collect payment credentials
• Does not intentionally store browsing history
• Does not perform unrelated tracking
• Does not use the audio system to record the user’s microphone or conversations

The audio alert is generated locally by the Extension using its bundled audio file.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information.

The Extension does not share user information with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics companies for advertising or profiling purposes.

Information may be transmitted to:

• Flipkart services, when necessary to provide the Extension’s checkout-assistance functionality.
• EarnKaro services, when necessary to convert a supported product URL into an affiliate URL.

The Extension does not intentionally send payment credentials, passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, or banking passwords to EarnKaro.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of the Extension.

11. Data Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information handled by the Extension.

Communication with supported online services is performed using secure HTTPS connections where supported.

However, no electronic system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Data Retention

The Extension does not maintain a separate database of users’ browsing or shopping information.

Extension settings and operational state stored locally remain until they are changed, cleared, or the Extension’s local storage is removed.

Affiliate conversion information stored locally is used to maintain the current checkout workflow and is not maintained as a separate user database.

The Extension is not specifically directed toward children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
